About us: We currently call Vero Beach, Florida home. My tech sector experience began in Seattle over a decade ago. After working for Amazon for over 6.5 years and proudly being part of launching the first Amazon Go Store, supporting the development of 3P skills (Apps for Alexa), and launching Amazon Posts for Amazon Advertising, it was time for a change. The next chapter of my journey was exploring remote working opportunities with Uber. For over 2 years I was proud to lead the Cart & Checkout team for Uber Eats and the Membership Growth Experience team for Uber One. In 2024, a much needed break was called for to begin a totally new adventure - learning to play guitar! That will continue as it's a lifetime journey and one needs to strive to be better for a long time before being able to justifiably call themselves good or great.
Fun fact: Before diving into the tech sector, I spent 25 years in the U.S. Navy. The majority of that time was as a Radar Intercept Officer (RIO) in the F-14 Tomcat and as a Weapon Systems Operator (WSO) in the F/A-18 Super Hornet. To see what that was like, click here. When the flying needed to be done by the younger generation, I was fortunate to be able to earn an advanced degree in Aeronautical Engineering and spend just under a decade at NAVAIR (the Aquisition HQ for Naval Aviation).
